Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement

READY SET CLEAN LTD

Modern Slavery and Human
Trafficking Statement

Version 1.0 | Published August 2026 | Review August 2027

1. Our
Commitment

Ready Set Clean
Ltd is committed to conducting business ethically, responsibly and with respect
for the dignity and rights of every person who works with or supplies our
organisation. We have zero tolerance for modern slavery, human trafficking,
forced or compulsory labour, servitude, child labour or other forms of
exploitation within our business or supply chain.

Ready Set Clean
Ltd is currently below the turnover threshold at which publication of a modern
slavery statement is mandatory under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
We nevertheless publish this statement voluntarily as part of our commitment to
responsible business practice, fair treatment of workers, ethical supply-chain
management and readiness to work with commercial and public-sector
organisations.

2. Our
Organisation, Business and Supply Chain

Ready Set Clean
Ltd is a residential, commercial and property support services company based in
Greater Manchester. We provide cleaning and related property-support services
and use a growing network of operatives/subcontractors together with suppliers
of cleaning chemicals, consumables, personal protective equipment, machinery
and other equipment.

Because
cleaning is labour intensive, we recognise particular risks associated with
recruitment, worker vulnerability, inappropriate third-party control,
exploitative working arrangements, identity or work-eligibility concerns,
unauthorised subcontracting and poor labour practices within parts of the
supply chain.

3. Our
Policies and Standards

Our approach is
based on the following principles:
• work must be entered into voluntarily and free from coercion, threats or
intimidation;
• we do not engage anyone subject to forced, bonded or compulsory labour;
• we do not charge operatives or subcontractors any recruitment, onboarding,
training or access-to-work fee;
• we do not retain passports, immigration documents or personal identity
documents belonging to workers;
• workers are given clear information about the basis on which work is offered
and how they will be paid;
• subcontractors are paid directly into bank accounts held in their own names,
and the account-holder name is verified against the identity of the person
engaged;
• discrimination, harassment, intimidation, exploitation and abusive treatment
are not acceptable;
• workers can raise genuine concerns without fear of retaliation; and
• we expect subcontractors, suppliers and business partners to comply with
applicable employment, labour, anti-trafficking and modern slavery laws.

4.
Identity, Work-Eligibility and Due Diligence

From August
2026, Ready Set Clean operates a formal identity and work-eligibility
verification process for newly engaged operatives/subcontractors before they
are approved as Ready to Deploy. Appropriate evidence is reviewed and recorded,
including any relevant restrictions or expiry/recheck dates. Existing active
operatives are being progressively reviewed against the same compliance
standard.

Where the
statutory employer right-to-work checking regime applies, Ready Set Clean
follows the relevant Home Office process. For other direct individual
engagements, we use proportionate identity and work-eligibility due diligence
appropriate to the relationship and assignment.

Our onboarding
controls include identity verification, payment-account name verification,
written terms of engagement, relevant training/competency checks and provision
of our confidential concerns process.

5. Risk
Assessment and Management

We recognise
that modern slavery risk is not limited to large international supply chains.
Labour-intensive sectors can present risks where people may be vulnerable
because of immigration status, financial hardship, language barriers, insecure
work, dependence on another individual or lack of understanding of their
rights.

We remain alert
to indicators such as a person appearing controlled or intimidated by another
individual, unusual arrangements concerning wages, inability to access
identification documents, coercion, threats, debt bondage, restricted movement,
unexplained worker substitution, excessive recruitment fees, concerning
accommodation or transport arrangements, unauthorised subcontracting or
supplier practices that create an unacceptable exploitation risk.

6.
Reporting Concerns and Remediation

Ready Set Clean
operates a confidential concerns-reporting process available to operatives,
subcontractors, suppliers, clients and other stakeholders. Concerns may be
raised verbally, by telephone, WhatsApp, email or through a confidential
reporting form, and may be raised anonymously.

Genuine
concerns raised in good faith will be treated seriously and sensitively, and
retaliation will not be tolerated. We will assess concerns promptly, protect
confidentiality as far as reasonably possible, consider the welfare of any
potential victim, investigate or obtain appropriate advice where required, and
suspend or terminate relationships where serious breaches are established.
Suspected criminal activity may be reported to the appropriate authorities. In
an emergency involving immediate danger, 999 should be called.

7. Training
and Awareness

Ready Set Clean
is incorporating modern slavery and ethical-working awareness into relevant
onboarding and management processes. As the business grows, people involved in
recruitment, onboarding, procurement, subcontractor management and operational
supervision will receive proportionate guidance on indicators of exploitation,
responsible recruitment, escalation routes and ethical treatment throughout the
supply chain.

8.
Measuring Effectiveness

We will monitor
and progressively improve our controls through measures including completion of
identity/work-eligibility checks, completion of worker and subcontractor
onboarding, payment-account name verification, concerns or incidents raised,
actions taken, training/awareness completed, supplier or subcontractor
compliance concerns and improvements identified through annual review.

9. Working
With Suppliers and Subcontractors

We expect
relevant suppliers and subcontractors to share our commitment to lawful and
ethical working practices. They must not knowingly use forced, compulsory,
bonded or trafficked labour or impose exploitative recruitment practices. Where
proportionate to the size and risk of a contract, Ready Set Clean may request
supporting information or assurances and may suspend or terminate relationships
where serious concerns are established.

10.
Continuous Improvement

Ready Set Clean
recognises that preventing modern slavery is an ongoing responsibility. As we
grow into larger commercial and public-sector contracts, we will continue
strengthening worker onboarding, subcontractor due diligence, supplier
assessment, training, reporting arrangements, risk assessment, governance
documentation and supply-chain monitoring, taking account of relevant UK
Government procurement guidance and recognised good practice.

11.
Approval and Review

This statement
has been prepared with reference to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and UK
Government guidance on transparency in supply chains. Although Ready Set Clean
Ltd is not currently required by section 54 to publish an annual statement, we
voluntarily adopt this statement as part of our commitment to responsible and
ethical business practice.

This statement
will be reviewed at least annually, or earlier if significant changes to our
business, workforce, supply chain or risk profile make that appropriate.
